Our state-of-the-art facility is headed by Dr. Robert D. Wilcox, a board certified plastic surgeon who provides patients with non-invasive facial rejuvenating procedures.
WHAT CAN I TREAT AT THE SKIN CARE CENTER?
When meeting with a licensed aesthetician, you will discuss your problem areas and the various treatment options available. Some of the most commonly treated imperfections include fine lines, wrinkles, acne, acne scars, and brown spots. Along with treatment, we can also provide ways to help prevent further damage to your facial skin. Following these recommendations can help to avoid the need for a more invasive treatment, such as facelift surgery.
Our aesthetician will analyze your facial skin and recommend the most appropriate treatment(s) to help meet your goals. Because no two patients are alike, skin care procedures are highly personalized for each person. Furthermore, not all treatments provide the same outcome for all patients.
If you would like to treat fine lines, wrinkles, creases, or acne scars, you may wish to receive a facial injectable. To relax overactive facial muscles, Botox ® may be injected into the target areas. This treatment can help to reduce the appearance of lines in the forehead and between the brows. Additionally, lines around the mouth and indentations on the face can be elevated with a facial filler; Juvederm ® and Restylane ® are the most common facial fillers used for this area.
Also, if you would like to achieve a smoother, more even-toned complexion, our aesthetician may recommend a skin resurfacing treatment. Microdermabrasion, chemical rejuvenation, and laser treatments are available at the Skin Care Center. Each can be further discussed during your complimentary consultation.
