Liposuction or tummy tuck surgery - which one is right for you?

If you are frustrated with having unwanted excess fat deposits in localized areas of your body, consider liposuction ("lipoplasty") as a possible solution. For many of our patients in North Texas, liposuction has effectively contoured areas of the body that were resistant to their diet and exercise efforts, such as the:

• Knees and ankles

If you find that your fat is concentrated on the stomach area, but your skin elasticity and muscles remain firm, the abdomen may be an appropriate location for liposuction as well.
